My name is Pete Smith, and I'm sort of evangelist-in-chief for the Contesting Compendium. I've been a ham for 55 years (next month) and a contester since CW SS 1955. I write the Contest Software column for National Contest Journal and have been spending a lot of time over the last year evangelizing for VE3NEA's CW Skimmer program and for the Reverse Beacon Network.
